      Description

      The google scholar metadata for Authors being output by DSpace is incorrect and not being picked up by Google. Instead they seem to be relying on parsing the Authors from the document, not always correctly.

      The two issues are:
      1) the metadata tag should be 'citation_author' not 'citation_authors'
      2) each author should have a separate tag (not have the authors combined into one tag)

      Google Scholar documentation (http://scholar.google.com/intl/en-US/scholar/inclusion.html#indexing):

      "The author tag, e.g., citation_author … Author names can be listed either as "Smith, John" or as "John Smith". Put each author name in a separate tag and omit all affiliations, degrees, certifications, etc., from this field."

      There is also an example on that page showing how to do multiple authors:
      <meta name="citation_author" content="Liu, Li">
      <meta name="citation_author" content="Rannels, Stephen R.">
      <meta name="citation_author" content="Falconieri, Mary">
      <meta name="citation_author" content="Phillips, Karen S.">

      GoogleMetadata.java in DSpace outputs the following:

      Single author:
      <meta name="citation_authors" content="Mabruk, Aminah" />

      Multiple author:
      <meta name="citation_authors" content="Bravender, Patricia; Lyon, Colleen; Molaro, Anthony" />
