#### Description

Mirage2 implements MathJax for display of mathematical formulae in metadata displays. However, the single dollar sign delimiter configuration for inlineMath is used (see https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=inlineMath ). Compare that to the guidance in the MathJax Getteing started Guide: http://docs.mathjax.org/en/latest/start.html which says "The default math delimiters are $$...$$ and [...] for displayed mathematics, and (...) for in-line mathematics. Note in particular that the $...$ in-line delimiters are not used by default. That is because dollar signs appear too often in non-mathematical settings, which could cause some text to be treated as mathematics unexpectedly.

We are seeing exactly this bug in our production repository... single dollar signs are treated as delimiters, even for metadata that does not contain mathematical formulae. Simply omitting the configuration for single dollar sign delimiters should be sufficient for addressing this issue. We'll need to correct the documentation which describes using Mathjax with single dollar signs.
