      Description

Per default our configuration sets db.maxidle = -1. On a regular base people run into problems with draining database connection pools. Many of those can be solved by changing the value of db.maxidle. We currently run our instances with db.maxidle set to 10. In the DCAT call in April 2017 about DSpace performance (https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/cmtygp/DCAT+Meeting+April+2017) a value of 20 was suggested. Is there any reason why the value is not set by default to -1?

I would suggest to set a default value of 10 for DSpace 6.1 and following versions. Any comments or other suggestions?
