Currently, each file is listed with a name, size and date created in the screen showing the contents of a dataset. The simplest approach for identifying the files would be to include the file type (“Readme”, “Dataset”, or “Other”) for each file. Another approach would be to segregate each type of file into a subsection in the “Files” section. Whatever strategy is preferred, the Readme file(s) should appear first, followed by the Dataset file(s), followed by the “Other” file(s).
[For example, the display for http://irdev.lib.virginia.edu/catalog/libra-oa:617 where the first file should be indicated as a Readme file type and the next as Dataset file type (and the third may be a Dataset or Other file type).]
