      Description

      islandora_solr_metadata depends on text format filtered_html:

      theme/islandora-solr-metadata-display.tpl.php:
      <?php print check_markup(implode("\n", $value['value']), 'filtered_html'); ?>

      theme/islandora-solr-metadata-description.tpl.php:
      <p property="description"><?php print check_markup(implode("\n", $value['value']), 'filtered_html'); ?></p>

      theme/islandora-solr-metadata-description.tpl.php:
      <p><?php print check_markup(implode("\n", $value['value']), 'filtered_html'); ?></p>

      Come to find out, the hard way, it is absolutely possible for a Drupal 7 installation to be missing the filtered_html text format.

      Found a clue in watchdog:
      Missing text format: filtered_html.

      Possible reasons filtered_html would not exist:

      1. filtered_html text format may not be installed during Minimal Drupal install
      http://drupal.stackexchange.com/questions/76184/adding-missing-input-formats-after-minimal-install

      2. Administrator issue (human error)

      Suggest utilizing function filter_formats (or similar) to test for existence of filtered_html and alert user visibly if it does not exist.
