When an object is created through the online interface, the fedorda ownerid is assigned the value of the operator's userid, e.g.:
<foxml:property NAME="info:fedora/fedora-system:def/model#ownerId" VALUE="fclakevin"/>
In Large Image and Basic Image (but not in Books, and I have not tested the other Solution Packs) the ownerid is assigned properly on Ingest, but if the metadata is edited and updated through the online form, the owner id disappears:
<foxml:property NAME="info:fedora/fedora-system:def/model#ownerId" VALUE=""/>
This may or may not be related to a second problem, that Large Image and Basic Image objects loaded through the Batch Module do not have ownerid values in the foxml. This may be something specific to the Batch Module, or it may simply be a case of the ownerid being lost when the object is edited; if you look at an object loaded through the Batch Module, the audit trail shows that it is loaded and then updated several times.
